The webAI product team is launching a new video series to demonstrate how the webAI app can transform the way people use AI at work. In the series, we created a fictional character named Maya, who owns a fictional catering company in Austin. Her business is growing, and she needs to answer clients quickly and accurately while keeping her small team in sync.
This first video explores how she can use Personas: specialists you create from what you know, each with its own job. (Please note that UI and other features are subject to change.)
Why a team of specialists
Instead of asking one assistant to carry everything, Maya builds a small team. Her Client and Sales Concierge knows her menus and pricing. Her Growth Strategist keeps an eye on the local market. Each one is grounded in the documents, skills, and instructions that fit its job, and each answers from that material with citations she can check.
That's the idea behind expert, local intelligence. Personas run locally on your own computer, so the thinking happens on your machine. When a job calls for the web or other tools, you decide which Personas can reach them.
What to watch for
Answers grounded in her own material. When a new intake form arrives, Maya's Concierge suggests pricing and packaging based on her documents and shows exactly where each answer came from.
Workflows she builds once. Maya creates a client proposal skill with her preferred format and structure. She can apply it to any Persona from then on, so a good process becomes a repeatable one.
Work that happens before she sits down. Her Growth Strategist researches the local market, then runs that analysis on a schedule. When Maya opens the app in the morning, the update is already waiting.
Personas that get sharper with use. Maya can let a Persona learn as she works with it, so it improves the more she relies on it.
None of this requires Maya to be technical. She describes what she needs, and her team takes shape around her business.
