A maintenance tech offshore lives inside OEM documentation: compressors, pumps, turbines, wellhead equipment, each vendor with its own thousands of pages. Permit-to-work is where documentation stops being reference material and becomes the law of the site. Isolation requirements, gas testing intervals, confined space entry, hot work conditions, every line traceable to a procedure, every procedure to a revision.
